Aesthetics and sound remind me of old RPGMaker heavy hitters like Yume-Nikki, congratulations! It isn't easy to have something so artistically pleasing with such a reduced palette and number of shapes.
The game is also deeply depressing. Being caught in the dream -> work -> bills loop on repeat is something we all can relate to, and that feeling is conveyed in such a clean, concise manner, without pretentions or the need of long, rambling, walls of text. Wow.
