I liked this game very much, but my main problem would be the map mechanic- Like whenever you pull out the map, you can't move.. So that just means you have to guess where you are facing.Regardless, it was a ton of... Not fun- more like uneasiness.

Oh, did not notice it from the darkness- Might be good to add a brightness/gamma settings available.
