Maybe we can focus on scandals or outrage that would lead to a sea change toward votes for a historically disempowered political party? Or an event with enough public impact and relevance that it leads to widespread public demonstration, demanding at least moderate legislative response? Raising awareness of and funds for grassroots direct action groups? We'll have to think about that further as we develop the project.
