I love this game, but there are a few things that detracted from the experience and led me to quit early. First off, the environment, ambience, and overall vibe you've made here is incredible! The snow and fog look especially nice. I basically shouted "oh SHIT" when the fire opened the parallel summer (or spring?) season, that's such an amazing way to use the theme and a lovely central mechanic. I genuinely had fun finding and gathering materials to expand the fire, but when I realized the time to carry a single item back to the cabin exponentially increases and higher-value fuels like coal and gas were rare, I started to get discouraged. It seems like an enormous feat to achieve given how many pieces of fuel you'd need to throw in the fire for it to reach the icy area. I think adding a basic compass (no waypoints, just cardinal directions to mentally track landmarks) would make gameplay much more accessible; I'm awful with directions IRL so facing that difficulty in a game isn't too fun haha. I would really love to play more of this and complete it if you update it with these considerations in mind! Amazing job nonetheless!
