I initially didn't plan the game well and had to finish it in a hurry, which resulted in a lack of color variety. You might have noticed that aside from the color sets, there are also four clothing sets related to professions mentioned in the second message's newspaper. Each profession-related clothing item is counted just like the correct color (but unfortunately, there are no bonuses for a full set). Additionally, some pieces of clothing are counted as two similar colors, even if the item is solid-colored (if that's something you're interested in). And you're right about the bug: if you don't close the message on the newspaper screen or the raccoon screen (he has messages too), they remain on screen.
