This was a nice game, I like the character art quite a bit. Although the pacing was quite slow, i didnt really get to interact with many characters in my play session. Music and sfx were good. You should consider also giving characters more life by animating them, such as moving the whole sprite around in different ways. The scenes were rather static. Great work on the rest of it though!

Hello, thank you so much for your feedback! Since this is the first time we were working with Ren'Py, we had a lot of figuring out to do, but for the full game we do plan on having more movement and animations so the screen doesn't look too static. Since it's a slow-burn story, the pace for the demo might be somewhat slow, but we're hoping that the world we've built intrigues players enough to stick around and experience the full game!

Thank you again for playing and the useful advice, we will keep your points in mind as we move forward in development! ^^

Yeah the challenges of a new engine can be difficult to deal with in such a short time. Good luck in future development!
