I have a strong feeling that I'm really missing the ability to perform a slide dash.
Contra Hard Corps had it, and it saved the day many times.

Many time through the demo I understand that I am dead in a second and it is impossible to do anything.
Like with the train boss when you have to lay down, to not let its chin to hit you. But then it starts to vomit. You lay down and can't move because his chin is above you. When his chin will pass you will be dead because of vomit stream from his mouth. So in such cases I destined to die. 

Yes, I'm aware that such things can arise. The problem is that such mechanics should be planned at the very beginning of the game to make enemies and obstacles with such mechanics in mind. Considering that the release of this game is already this year, there is no way to introduce this, because I would need to rebalance every level. The possibility of introducing this mechanic will be considered in the sequel\prequel. But I'm not making any promises on that matter
