Overall: It was a solid jam entry, with a good through line story that never strayed from it's theme.
Gameplay: Maybe it's just me, but having interesting looking maps to explore and look at, and then being punished for that exploration with invisible, random battles, feel like trying to browse the early web only to be slammed with useless popups over and over again. And ultimately the battles didn't feel interesting. The USB/item hunt was alright.
Music: It was atmospheric.
Story. It had a solid beginning, middle and end, and carried the game through, even if it was simple. It worked for the jam well enough.
Graphics: (Cries in traditional artist) I LOVE that you gave Harold expressions! That salvaged this rating a little.
Comedy. I didn't find the humor all that funny, but I'm an outlier in that i don't find most things that are supposed to be funny actually funny. I recognized the jokes, at least! The one joke wore thin after the first instance, but was quite amusing the first time.

It felt like a game that was trying to do too much with too little time. I would suggest, if you wanted to go back and tighten up this game at all, is change the battles to Event encounters and make your equipables either discoverable, or harder to obtain.  As is the fights just didn't feel balanced or impactful to the game, except to interrupt things for little to no reason.

Thanks for the review! I do plan on giving the player a way to stop all of the random encounters when they're tired of seeing monsters in the next update once the jam is finished. Bit of an oversight on my part but easily fixable.
