Hello! I'm sorry that you are encountering an issue! Please describe the error you are encountering.

Are you using the itch.io app to play?

Hello, Scarlet Games. Thank you for replying, my issue which I am encountering is on the itch.io app, yes. I first tried to launch the executable with wine but then that didn't seem to work. Then I tried to launch it with the itch.io app...  I get the same error. I am guessing, itch.io app uses wine because it looks identical.

This is my Error, I linked to a pastebin url. If you also want information about my machine:

OS: Ubuntu MATE 22.04.4 LTS x86_64

Kernel: 6.5.0-41-generic

Shell: bash 5.1.16

Resolution: 1920x1080

DE: MATE 1.26.0

WM: Metacity (Marco)

CPU: Intel i7-4700HQ (8) @ 3.400GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M

Also, I am using Nouveau drivers. for my NVIDIA GPU.

Hello! I'm really sorry that you're encountering this error.

Please note that Zoomies is a Windows game and has no official support for linux at this time. It should work fine on a native Windows machine. I'm not knowledgeable of the linux architecture so I can only provide limited support.

Do other games work when you run them in the same way? I am building Zoomies using the 2021.3.5f1 version of the Unity engine and am not using any special libraries.

Maybe it would be worth contacting itch.io support about the wine error when running using the app? Perhaps they can help you more than I can. I am really sorry that I cannot be of more help.

Hello, it's alright... I can just easily dual boot, or just run a VM. Not too big of a deal.
