Too much dialogue compared to scares/gameplay, but short so why not give it a try.

Ok so for a bit more detail. This game drew me in from the art and the space helmet filter, this leaves to some good atmosphere. This game even had a good starting idea that draws people in and can lend to a wide range of outcomes. This game makes you feel like you are on the moon from the low grav jumps to the space debris floating up from the ground ( I'm assuming this is what it is like on the moon XD). Even to the sprint back to the ship started very intense.

Now the biggest down side is the bloated expo dump at the start of the game. It is bad practice to dump a bunch a dialogue at the beginning of a game (without gameplay or anything to really keep the gamers attention) because as the gamer you aren't really invested in the game at first so the dialogue can come across as boring or drawn out if not paced well. Well this game is just walking, one interact, then more walking, so I see why you added this "story" to add some intrigue but I personally thinks it works against your game.

As I said in the starting sentence this game is pretty short so it doesn't hurt to give it a play and maybe you will get scared to by the jumpscare lol XD.

I play indie horror games and I actually try to give some actual feedback to hopefully help improve the dev aspect in some way (even if it's super tiny ;) ) I would appreciate it if you would check out my video. Sorry for the shill but closed mouths don't get fed. Thanks for the opportunity to play your game.

Thanks so much for this feedback, detailed feedback comments like the most valuable comments I get. Totally agree with your points. Looking back I think that this would work better if you start in an archive room and put the vhs tape (the "recording" of the game) in a vhs player, then a trimmed down version of the text can play on a physical TV in that room, before shoving your camera into the TV when the actual game starts for the first person perspective. Or something like that. I would really appreciate if you stay around for the next project where I will solve the problems you've seen here, I LOVE this feedback!! Thank you!

that actually sounds pretty cool ngl. Also I have to say it I saw another commenter mention doing some voice work for you for free. I would be really interested as well, it's kind of a small dream of mine to do voices one day. Good luck on your next projects and lmk if there are any in particular you would like me to take a look at

(+1)

all the other ones are pretty old (The Space Sim is a cute little game tho if it’s something that’s right up ur alley like it is mine) this is my first time back in a while. Started college and a job so it got pretty hectic   Link me a social media I can contact you on though because there are a bunch characters I need for my next project and I wanna stay away from AI.  Thanks so much for playing man!!

I don't really have socials smh. A twitter maybe but I don't use it. Maybe you can leave a comment on something when you're ready if you remeber little ol me. Other then that I could add you on discord.
