i click run game and get a dead white screen, this occurs on both edge as well as firefox

that's not good. is it possible for you to send me more details. could you hit f12 while you are trying to launch the game, could you send me a screen shot of what it spits out?

f12 only brings up my laptop's dev mode, which i cannot say i am comfortable with delving in to. I DID try downloading the game and even the download version, upon selecting a save slot or new game slot defaults to a black or grey screen with a sad face in the corner or middle

wow, that's surprising that even after all the updates and improvements, it still causes that issue. i guess my one suggestion is just to try it on mobile soon, since I'm working to get it optimized for mobile. that or find a different pc to run it on? I'm curious what specs your laptop has because if its too old it might just be a hardware issue? the more i know about it the better since i would love to get it working on your laptop if possible.
