I've completed the demo and had a really good time (except with some of those forest puzzles lol) but I was wondering if there was an easy way to farm shards? I wanted to recruit and rank up the rest of the girls but collecting shards is really slow going with how few Shape battles I get.

Thank you!

I just added the ability to control some of the forest puzzle with the keyboard for the next build. This will hopefully help a bit ^^

You should be able to trigger Shape fights infinitely in the room where you fought Nightmare! Additionally, pressing "M" in a fight with debug mode active will instantly win the fight. There will be more interesting ways to farm shards in the future but that's the best I got for now!

Oh really? That's good news on the forest puzzles.

I've checked the nightmare room, I see the 6 bosses available (Octopus, T, Kitsune, Cerelia, Mushroom and Nightmare) but I don't see any way to trigger shape fights unless I've missed something... I believe I'm using the right version of the demo, 24 06 01...

Really? That's odd... This is the most recent build.
There should also be a Shape card right there in the middle in that version, above the sign. If that's ok, could you send me a screenshot of what you see in this room? I'll also be able to check for your version number that way and make sure there was no confusion ^^

Here you go! Thank you for the help with this, by the way.

No problem! ^^

Aah, you're definitely on the wrong version yeah... I can't tell which one this is for sure since this is from before I started adding the version label in the bottom right, but it's definitely several builds old. Even the floor number in the bottom left is still here, that's been replaced by the area's current oyon colors in newer builds. There isn't really a reliable way to farm shards in that old build.
I'm sorry to say you very probably won't be able to transfer your save from this build to a newer one...

One thing you could do is grabbing the actual most recent demo (it's pinned on Patreon!), and making heavy use of the debug functions (which are explained here https://www.patreon.com/posts/92141393), but that's about all I got.

I think I see what I did wrong. I tried to copy a data file from an older version to the new one to try and carry over the save file, but it seems it basically just meant I kept playing the previous version of the game. Shoot! Well that explains things at least. And you're correct, it doesn't seem I can carry this save to the new one the usual way. That is a shame, but hey, least I have a new version of the demo to enjoy some time soon. :P

Thank you for the help!

Aah yeah, that'll do it.
There'll be a new demo on the 1st yeah! ^^

Glad we figured this out!
