Started playing this game then ran into this room in the starting level and can't proceed because there doesn't seem to be a switch to lower these bars similar to a previous room unless its hidden and I'm just an idiot 🙃

you gotta light all the torches in the room, similar to the one a few rooms back, in this picture there are 2 that are not lit.
Honestly didn't occur to me that they were torches and thought they were broken pillars due to being very similar to them both color scheme & design. However that's kind of an error on my end since you can pass through these bars without lighting up the first "torch" and I didn't read the tutorial notes due to the game's retro gameplay simplicity 😅
