I think you've nailed a kind of "wandering sadness" with these, in line with your description of the picture. I'm on the same wavelength personally - I thought there was definitely some sombre tone to it. Each piece is put together and arranged well. For me, I think Submerged in Memory is the most notable of the three - interesting choice of instrumentation, a plodding progression and it treads a very fine line of loneliness. Great work!

Thanks! I'm really happy I'm not the only one who found the image so compelling in its sombre implications, with the half-faded figure by the girl's side and the abstract beauty of the world. It's a relief that I succeeded in treading the fine line of loneliness, as you said, since this is my first time creating songs for a broader theme instead of just for myself.

You did a great job! Much the same for myself, these things can be a little nerve-wracking but what matters is you push through and have something to submit in the end. Glad I wasn't the only one who latched onto the sombre aspect of the picture - at a glance it is easy to chalk it up to being a sort of child-like joy with all the bubbles, chalk animals and the laughter but I definitely think there's another layer beneath that. :)
