Happy to hear that you enjoyed our game!
While there aren't really any negative actions that will cause you to lose points (this was deliberate as it seemed counterintuitive), your suggestion of having more feedback on how your actions are being scored (base points vs. max points), makes sense. We had plans on adding additional visual and audible distinctions to this, but did not have time to fully implement unfortunately.
If we continue to develop our game, along with any bug fixes in the future, we'll be sure to include this.
