Thanks! “your skill is negative/positive” refers to the number added when rolling for that particular skill.
For example: if you rolled a 3 for “Tights!” you would divide by 2 and round up to get a modifier of 2. But, because the original roll of 3 is an odd number, your modifier of 2 is instead -2. If you had rolled a 4 the modifier would be +2.
