It doesn't matter how 'abstract' a minigame is. If in your game whenever the player tries to pick a lock, they have to pass a "answer these random questions correctly" minigame, then that's in the spirit of that optional challenge.

As for how to make a minigame, that's easily done with events, but depends heavily on what exactly you want to do.
