There's not really a traditional leveling system. You gain permanent stats based on your choice in the beginning or through Witches Bottles of which you can get two so far from what I recall.
Or draining your servants. When you have enough of them, you can do it via a dialogue option when speaking to felicity.
You need Witch Bottles for that but the additional explanation is appreciated.
