Great fun racing game :-)!
That was fun racing en drifting around as mailman :-)!
Nice pixel art and coherent style. Driving in the dark was also fun. Maybe could be a bit more light & dark difference for the theme. The VFX were a bonus like the marks.
Background track had the right intensity for this kind of game and the sfx added to the ambiance.
Maybe a bit of UI but you did polish it nice into the game and not very clear UI. Nice idea for the avenue scoring for example.
Maybe some extra variety in the levels would make it even more fun. Some extra obstacles for example or driving through a village or city at some point (did not see any other terrain in my playthrough so I think it was not there). Maybe even some enemies or cops going after you if you drive into too many smileys.
But overall this was a very fun racer to play and a solid jam entry. Well done!
