that aesthetics are great, ambience, tasteful use of lights

it’s short and simple, with very quirky controls… never saw anyone do E and Q for the purposes you used them.

the movement feels fine, it’s a type of slower, more puzzley platformer with the very specific type of wall jump… I think you picked a lane for how it controls and executed it pretty well (many flavors of platforming, matter of design, not better/worse - you can check my game for a completely different take)

I have a few points of improvement:

  • some platforms were quite hard to see because the background happened to be also darker in a color that was very similar to the platform itself. I know you are going for an aesthetic but might want to make some adjustments for gameplay… maybe make sure there’s light next to moving platforms

  • the fires take foreeeeeeeeeeever on and very little off, it’s so much waiting, could tone those times down a bit

  • in levels where you are close to the bottom of the screen, if your character is even partially off screen, you die… that feels very unfair. could probably make it so if you are at least 75% off screen

  • it’s missing some “life”… some animation/sound when you die or when you press a button.

Thank you for the detailed feedback and for playing the game :)
