I’m 100% in agreement with you

I’ve been trying to leave very specific feedback of what they did well, what they can improve…

but i’m also keeping in mind if I see it’s probably someone’s first game I’m not gonna tell you “well this is a basic crappy platformer” even if objectively you might say that. I try to see where people are in their journey and give feedback that matches what I think is reasonable to expect from them if that makes sense

Actually, after my post asking about constructive feedback, there were some people who pointed out our mistakes and gave advice(including you my friends, thank you all for that), and man, that was REALLY helpful!! We already working on it. So, yes, giving feedback based on others experience is very important! It is all about the attitude and  interest to your and others work, not popularity after all.
