I believe that people feel like they need to be kind on their reviews and comments.
Nobody here is a professional (well maybe there are a few), so we tend to be more lenient.
Combine this with the fact that people want to get others to play their games, it makes it even harder to be post a negative comment. You never know when the person will be offended and review bomb your game, although i doubt that would ever happen.
