Great submission dude, you should be proud. I don't know of you're open to feedback, and it isn't really feedback, at least not on the compositional side of your work, because I have nothing but love for it. But I wonder how this would sound without reverb. I get that you're going for an orchestral feel, but I love those dry midi sounding soundtracks you hear in games like Sea of Stars for example. I'd love to hear less reverb heavy versions! But again excellent work!

Thanks! I get what you mean with the drier sound palette, i dig the snes/ps1 era sequenced dry sounds too. Might try porting these to soundcanvas/jv-1080 or just straight up snes sounds, if i can get around to it :D.

got around to porting the battle track midi to some snes sounds, not really following the limitations of the snes 8 voices, but a fun for comparison nonetheless.

So sorry for the late reply but this is exactly what I meant!!! So cool, and thanks so much for taking the time to do something with my feedback! I really really love this!! Using the old sounds (and ditching the heavy use of reverb) immediately transfers you back to when you were a kid playing the SNES, whereas your initial production doesn't really grab that nostalgia, I don't mean any offense. In my opinion you nailed it with this second production.
