Hello, i played this game recently, then i reached the finish, Wonderful game btw, If an update has been released, how do i update my current game to not lose my progress??

The safest way would be to install the updated game (when it is released) to a different location. Then you can try and figure out how to port your saves, which, while I haven't had to do it yet, I understand to be a quite trivial process.
ETA: the save files appear to be in the <HEADMASTER>/game/saves/
