The effect of enemies comming from the shadows with only eyes being vsisible <3
Music is on point, fits perfectly!
Adding combat sfx would defenitely make it more fun.
The skills and upgrades are awesome but the way you obtain the them was a little unintuittive for me.
I guess it was like 'if you have enough then you can select that skill' but for a long time I was thinking that I am buying them for that amount of resources (but it didnt make any sense, coz I could not find that many of them).
And about gathering resources I wish there was an opotion to reignite the lamps.
And even before they are gone you should add an indicator (like an arrow) that the lamp in this direction is about to burn out! I found myself exploring looking for resources and all of a sudden Im coming back to the lamp and it Is gone. (Also light fade is cool but flickering would make it more visible that its about to burn out)

For the sound part, I completely agree with you, we didn't had time to add all sounds like SFX for the deadline :(
Like you said, I think we can improve the user experience on the skills part and the way we get them. Now you need to collect many gems of different colors in the "light part" but some of them are hidden in the dark if you loose some light area.
The indicator arrow is a nice idea + the flickering!
