Not sure if this is supposed to be a board game or an ad for DMDU...

(3 edits)

Yes, I'm not sure how all these DMDU documents have their place in the game jam, or what relations they have with making games or video games.
Here are direct quotes from the main document:
"Learning form fields of psychology, philosophy and well-being. Development of personal abilities and learning possibilities. Research of developmental and communication ways."

"You can learn about and acquire the following features:
- The most modern possibilities of psychology, management and else useful expertise. [...]
- The best systems of personal development and defense and strategy for example in area of marketing. [...]
- The longest time developed areas of science and art including well-being."

On top of this it's advertising a paid service going from 49EUR per hour to 119EUR per person and upwards to 200EUR. In my opinion this has no place here, you should have redirected to your own page and advertise there (if that is even allowed).

I left a previous comment that was terribly constructed but now I have voiced my concerns.

It's not a board game but a physical (action) game (RPG / LARP). In DMDU we are teaching according to the principle "School as game" (schola ludus), so why not add just 3 of our PR documents (from which are 2 just business cards)? Feel free to download just the RPG.

EDIT after your edit: The prices are charitable (we are spending a lot to keep the top quality of our services). TTRPGs and physical RPGs including LARPs are accepted and even welcome in smart school as teaching tools. Those things are also used as tools in psychotherapies. You should rather more learn and less criticize what you apparently don't know about enough.

I asked ChatGPT to write the review because of the following reasons:

1) Quality check.

2) Understandability of the rulebook.

3) To read at least some positive comment, because I anticipated that computer games jam people will have problem with accepting a physical game.

Not sure if you're a troll or really someone who at least read the rulebook if not tried the game to stop being confused about what it is. It's not a board game, it's a physical game playable also as a LARP (even outside).

This is my last response other than "Please try the game before commenting on it!".
