Nice blatant asset flip. I’d recognize the Leartes Victorian alley demo map from a mile away. You didn’t change a thing about it aside from adding the portal doorway

Yeah.... I know it's not good practice, so thanks for pointing that out. You're right, I did start with  A LOT of demo maps as a base. For future projects I do plan on creating original assets and designs.  While it's no excuse, this has been my first game project, in future updates I plan on removing the demo maps and making original areas using the assets. I appreciate the feedback as its something I did not mention on the game page.

Don’t take that feedback too hard please - this was a game jam with a limited timeframe and it’s understandable if assets get leaned on in order to ship a working game. The same guy was complaining in the community posts for something else just a couple days ago - he’s probably just looking for things to get mad about.

I played your submission and I thought it was pretty nicely structured, gorgeous visually, and the portal system was a really cool touch (I did something similar in mine so I’m partial to it haha). Please keep doing what you’re doing! And I look forward to a full release of The Atrium if you decide to keep working on it!

Thanks for the pep talk :), His tone was a little mean spirited but he had a point, I'm sure he meant well (hopefully). I played your submission too, it was awesome! Top 3 for sure. Your portal system was fantastic, it was so seamless I almost didn't notice it at first.

I’m so glad to hear that! Thank you! The portal system was a solid week of the development time for mine so that means a lot.

And top 3 wow! You just made my whole day!
