No, you don't. At least as long as you didn't delete your old saves. All updates are save file compatible, and allow you to continue your progress.
If you downloaded the full game again, copy&paste the entire content of the www/save folder of the old game version to the same location in the new game version. Make sure to copy everything, including the .global file.
