intentional but you do get an opportunity to buy weapon from vendor or savescum a weapon from the chest in the temple save on map before cutscene for savescum
i already made it out the temple i just tried many times, now i have to go save elise, the weapon vendor only says, "girl has weapon very danger" which is weird the leather armor are nice.
Im trying to make magic work but i only have fire staff and when il alone they always at melee range and so i tank the hit or get interrupted.
Maybe i can go back now while elise is in temple, or somehow find another vendor i wanna try if the other staves or books have an answer for this melee problem
