Well some people(which are unfortunately more vocal about what they want) just want to rush into the H scenes and don't want story. You need to take things like that into account. Maybe saying in the description that your game is story focused will help keep people like that from playing your game in the first place and then you can get more relevant reviews from those your style appeals to. I personally like games with a good story where I feel I get to know the characters so your story telling style is enjoyable for me. Just keep doing what your doing. It works in my opinion.
Sorry, I'm a little late to the party lol. I actually updated the first sentence to this "Between Humanity is a story driven AVN which..." 10 days ago! :) Thank you for the nice words, I also like to get to know the characters and their flaws and maybe have some funny accidents on the way as well but that only helps to build a believable relationship imo.
