I don't really understand what the game is about. It's titled the broken GameBoy, and you are supposed to be playing on one, but it seems completely irrelevant in regards to the game.

The game itself seems unfinished, I suppose the enemies are attacking but there is no indication of that. Sound is missing as well. There is also no indication of what I am supposed to do, I kept running through the level to the right until I couldn't continue but couldn't go back either as I dropped down a ledge. Then I suddenly died for no reason and got stuck in a death animation loop.

I suppose with more time the game would have ended up making more sense to me, as of now I am unsure what exactly I was doing. If the GameBoy has no actual meaning to the game but just serves as a graphical gimmick that's fine, but I wouldn't center the game's name around it then as that implies it is a critical piece of the mechanic or story.

Anyways, I understand this is your first Godot project and even with its flaws its also an achievement to have released a functioning game in a jam. Keep going and keep learning!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game and provide such thoughtful feedback. I really appreciate your insights, especially regarding the connection between the title and gameplay, as well as the areas that felt unfinished. Your comments are incredibly helpful, and I’ll definitely be working on these aspects in future updates. I’m excited to continue learning and improving. Thanks again for your support and encouragement!
