I think the pixel art is nice. But this zoomed in view gives the player no time to see what's ahead.  

For the dialogue, you should implement a key press for each box, so we can read it before it disappears. 

A sword swishing sound, and clang would be good here too. To give more feedback to the player that they are swinging the sword. 

Sadly the biggest Resolution I could go is 64x64 as this was a submission for low res game jam.

that is a good idea, I will be sure to implement them in future games.

I did add sounds for swords and hit but it clashed hard with the teddy bear sounds, SoI had to remove them as i dint have a better alternative.
