May do an quick patch to add a starting arrow.
Honestly, I think it would help a lot. Maybe you don't freeze until after you start moving? Anything to have a chance to at least get started.
Patch notes: Added an arrow, changed the game over window to make it clear the game is over. The death counter doesn't kick in until you press the right arrow key for the first time.
