Good use of the theme, great visuals and sound design. I loved the UI and the fact that the game is short and polished. Overall, very good :)
I have two quick to implement tips if you plan on doing a platformer again:
1. Some coyote timing (jump still registering even a little after stepping out of a ledge) is always going to be very welcome, especially in games with precision jumping, and;
2. Jump buffering (storing jump inputs, for example a little before landing) to make the game feel more responsive
