I like the game's scaling system and art. However, increasing the number of lives or implementing a checkpoint system would significantly enhance the player experience. Thank you for the work.

Yeah I had these in my to-do list, also had a UI that I completely forgot to add that shows how much health you have, and how many apples you've eaten! Also had a fun a mechanic where if you eat the 4th apple after eating 3, you pop and die because you've eaten too much, hence the pop sound when you die from spike or falling.
