if you really only spent a few hours on it I’ll give you feedback matching that (like won’t criticize lack of content)
the animations are quite cute and squishy, the checkerboard background is a good utilitarian hack to make the game feel less empty at the cheap/fast on the art department.
the choice of music funnily enough I think detracts from the game, it’s too good/solemn for the level of quickly put together game, makes it feel a bit out of place. sometimes it’s better to have a worse asset that matches the level of polish of the rest of the game than having something super nice that contrasts too much.
overall I’m glad you managed to get something out there despite the woes with finding a team, hope you get a better setup next time <3
