Yeah, Sorry about that... There's an option to activate the continuous impulse mode: by pressing the backspace key (I know this doesn't wholly fix the problem, but it was kind of a last-moment implementation for accessibility) I wanted the controls to convey the goofiness of a gnome balancing on a rushing snowball though, that's why they are like that by default.
