Really enjoyed your game, well done! Definitely one of the most creative ones I've seen, and I particularly loved the ending sequences to each level. 

If you expand upon this, I would recommend introducing some less punishing save points, as it's easy to feel like you're soft locked when you make a mistake, and goes against the otherwise very exciting and energetic gameplay.

I also found there was no reason not to hold down right click at all times, which simplified gameplay a lot. Some options I see are: 

  • Remove the need to hold the button and just have the fish scale up automatically (keeping the hype train but lowering difficulty)
  • Temporarily increase linear drag while inflating (Hype is more dependent on skill)
  • Make inflation unavailable for a short time after deflation (less hype, more puzzle focused)
