This is a fun game! I enjoy the idea of basically building your own level to scale up. I also really like the visuals and overall vibe of the game, and I thought the music was a good choice. The 'loot box' system is a pretty fun idea, and I love the animations for them!  

Here's some other feedback if you continue to work on this:

  • I soft-locked myself by getting caught between blocks  in just the right way. I feel like it should be OK to rest wherever right now so maybe there shouldn't be a limitation on that if you aren't on the ground? 
  • I couldn't tell if there were checkpoints or something, but it doesn't seem like it. It was rewarding to find more loot crates, but as a player I kept thinking to myself: "I really hope I can find a checkpoint because this might take forever otherwise." I didn't get that far in the game before I got soft locked, but it felt like I spent a really long time to make relatively small progress. 
  • There's a bit of fun 'bug' right now where you can actually place the last block in a turn by placing it and then quickly exiting build mode. I enjoyed finding that and cheating a bit by using it! it's also a bit of a challenge to actually get it to fall right into the place you want it. I assume that isn't intentional though, it was fun to find though!

Good job on the game! It's awesome how much you got done--definitely a large scale game for this jam :)

there is an unstuck button in the options, and i'm planning to add chekpoints. Thank you for playing (is it a feature or a bug ? :D)

Oops, didn't realize about the unstuck button! I'll play this again sometime now that I know that's there :)
