This game is really fun! The mechanics are simple but it has a lot of depth to it.

I like the art and the minimalistic design. I also like the interactive tutorial. Although I don’t think it tells the difference between light rocks and darker rocks, and I assumed you just can’t grab darker rocks.

The controls get a little frustrating sometimes:

  • It’s sometimes hard to click on the hands or be sure you reached the rock before clicking. A bigger collider and some visual indicator like a highlight would help.
  • Sometimes you “lose” the hand after clicking on it. It falls down, but still seem to react to mouse movement.
  • I wish when you drag a hand too far, the opposite leg would automatically stop sticking. It will save a lot of time spent on unsticking legs.
  • Sometimes the guy can just lock up and refuse to move. It may be a problem with joint constraints. I think if you allow dragging the body and relax those constraints while you do so, this can be fixed.
  • Stamina could use a little grace window. A couple of times I fell just as I reached a needed rock, and stamina started recharging while I was falling.

But even with those hurdles, the game is really addictive. What an impressive entry!

thanks for all the feedback! a few of those things were pointed out by playtesters but just too close to the deadline ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I'll try to add lots of those features (especially the opposite leg unsticking, that actually sounds really cool)
