That was fun! I liked the competitive aspect mixed with the citybuilding aspect. Though I'd have liked to see more requirements for making your city work ala City Skylines or whatever, and then adding the influence mechanic on top of that.
I think the start is maybe a bit too slow, in that you spend a lot of time at the beginning just waiting for your money to tick up. Maybe having the HQ gives you a starting 20 cents would solve that? (It would also avoid the softlock if you build something other than an office with your starting money.)
I encountered a couple of errors:
Even when the objective was to capture both monuments, when I captured one, I won. And also, when the enemy captured one of them, I still won somehow. And then in the last (?) level, the two other corps just did nothing the entire time, which was a little disappointing. Also, I got the HQ to lv 10, and nothing happened. Then I tried to take the enemy HQs, and also nothing happened. So I just had to quit manually.
Anyway, cool game; nicely done!
