Really cool arcade style game with awesome pixel art and color scheme, I do wish there was some music for the main portion of the game though.
I did encounter a bug where if you held the spacebar down before landing that your character would not want to jump unless you release the spacebar and press it again (hope that makes sense). Other then that everything worked as intended. Great job!
Thanks for digging into it! There IS music during play... that I turned way, way down while testing and never turned back up. It's whispering the beats I guess. Your bug is actually a result of turning off a really mean feature, that if you press and hold spacebar before landing on a ledge (while still jumping) the ledge wouldn't activate and you would fall and die. I turned that off but if you still press early... jumping won't initiate until you release. Great catches.
