Fun game, interesting mechanic with the element system, but it could’ve been made more visible as I didn’t quite see it until a couple matches in! Really liked the design of the characters but there was a clear winner for me (giraffe o’clock).
Other than that, some improvements I would like to see in a future iterations:
- Make the intro text wait for player input, I was always too slow with reading them.
- The game currently felt a bit too RNG, I think that is partly the cause of how many actions you are allowed to use (5 points) and the amount of cards in your inventory. I usually get to play all of my cards before I run out of action points. A solution for this would be to reduce the amount of action points and give more action points (and variation) to cards, so a card might take 2 action points from the player instead of always 1.
- Lastly, there was a small bug on the first round of a fight: the next turn button didn’t work.
