The game is really fun to play, the style is great. But i had a bug where Jill's Special ability didn't work at all. A bit sad, but that's fine. Well done!

Wasn't expecting a card game for this jam, but well done! Had a great time with it!

Fun game, interesting mechanic with the element system, but it could’ve been made more visible as I didn’t quite see it until a couple matches in! Really liked the design of the characters but there was a clear winner for me (giraffe o’clock).

Other than that, some improvements I would like to see in a future iterations:

  • Make the intro text wait for player input, I was always too slow with reading them.
  • The game currently felt a bit too RNG, I think that is partly the cause of how many actions you are allowed to use (5 points) and the amount of cards in your inventory. I usually get to play all of my cards before I run out of action points. A solution for this would be to reduce the amount of action points and give more action points (and variation) to cards, so a card might take 2 action points from the player instead of always 1.
  • Lastly, there was a small bug on the first round of a fight: the next turn button didn’t work.

Overall, great entry!

It's the first card game I have played in this jam. I love the concept and the character design. The gameplay is also smooth. Great job!

Was a cool card game and deck builder but it was a bit complicated sometime. But i'm super impressed by the final result, the content is here and quite polished wow

A deckbuilder like this in a short game jam is super impressive, well done!

The art looks so good. I like the color palette. The game feel is there but not enough to be noticed. Although I'm not a big fan of build decker, I'm impressed how much your team can work together to finish this game. Good Job team.

I had few bugs while playing this game. One being that at one point the turn wouldn't end (drawing and playing a card seemed to fix this), and another happened while loading the next level, the game faded out but never faded back in, making the game unplayable.

I thought it was a fun game with great art, audio, and gameplay. I just wanted to point these things out so you could work on them or fix them if you plan to.

I love rouge likes  with deck building !

superb work! releasing an entire tcg in a game jam is incredibly impressive and the scaling mechanic fits into the game perfectly. i ran into a minor issue where the player's turn ended when i still wanted to activate the character's ability, so i think having an indicator like hearthstone's "end turn" button might work better. i would love to play a more finalized version with more juice!

Hi! Thank you for playing!

Very glad to hear you enjoyed the game, it's been a tiresome 96 hours of working and comments like these add to the worth of that <3

As for the turn ending, I admit- oversight on our end haha. It will be fixed in the post-jam version (just bugfixes, no additional content, sadly). If anything else comes up for future potential, ever, I'm happy to come ping you in this comment :)

Holy crap, this is such a polished game. It's so... "complete". I thoroughly enjoyed playing it!

The only thing I'll comment is each button's location. I feel it's more natural to perceive time from left to right. So I always clicked on Scale Card button but meant to end turn.

Also, how did you successfully make a duck look so dang cool!?

Beautiful game, I would love to see the main mecanics expanded and more juice !

The intro is way too long. Art is nice.

Hi! Thanks for trying our game!

The intro isn't mandatory, you're able to skip it holding space- Hope that helps!
