All the projects you worked on with someone got abandoned, right?

yeah, this seems to happen a lot these days, 2 years ago, I got hired in a team, I had to learn Godot (the engine they use) and after 3 months of learning the team suddenly just abandoned everything, a month later, started to work on a game in Love2D with someone, after 3 days they stopped replying to me and abandoned me and the project, 4 months later, I got to work on a Horror game with 7 devs, I had to also learn Unity, but no one was doing any actual work, they were just throwing excuses to not work at any time, the project was dead, so I left after 1 month of learning Unity,

Now I have learned (doing basic stuff) in 3 different tools, wasted about 8 months without finishing anything, I tried to go solo game dev, but I have problems getting the motivation to finish or learn something, now, I have learned a bit from what happened, and I want to find someone to work with and actually learn the tool I need, just be careful of those 12 years old who doesn't add details to their project, or they claim the idea to be a triple A project with masive physics engine bla bla, all those stuff that's too good to be true for a not well-planned project, keep yourself with those who have the control of good planning and very good skillset, you will not just enjoy working with them, but you will also enjoy learning more to be like them, stay safe mate.
