After winding down from a long day, I had such a lovely time playing through this. Like what dubze27 said, it was so much fun to spot all our games' similarities and differences. Even though we both used GB Studio, seeing how differently we interpreted this year's theme was a joy.
Your pixel art is excellent, and your use of colors is stellar. Dubze27 and I were both in awe of what you accomplished visually. Using character portraits with the mascots was such a charming touch, and the different animations/facial expressions you gave them added so much!
I loved the arcade music track as well, by the way! Hearing your interpretation of what an arcade area would sound like on the Game Boy was a true treat for the ears.
DSD's absence was also great; I grinned hard at that one.
