I was never a 90s Mac user, but I'm infatuated with the aesthetic and it's always nice to see people exploring it. Decker looks like a really interesting tool to recapture a bit of that magic and I'm surprised it's so easily deployable in the browser! Like many HyperCard games, this uses interactive elements to create branching paths with multiple endings. It's a bit of a fever dream and the discord of the music and eclectic visual elements stays true to the HyperCard tradition whilst also being gleefully odd. This guy can't seem to catch a break! May he find respite before he slays again.

Same w/ everything you said about the aesthetic, so naturally I loved your game. I actually played yours before I saw this comment so I thought surely yours was decker as well. It was blowing my mind because I was trying to wrap my head around how you extended it w/ pygame/tkinter lmao. I would have done the same but I wanted to learn use something new (which is part of why I didn't fully fledge this out because I was trying to be ambitious w deckers scripting language lol).

I'm glad you enjoyed what I was able to complete! I am moving forward with it independent of the jam because I really want to see the full idea come to life.  Thanks for checking it out!
