First of all, congrats on making your first gamejam! That's always a great accomplishment!

I liked the vibes, kinda feels Puppet Combo inspired with the visual style and story.

I did have a hard time figuring out how to complete certain parts of the game tho. When Hannah goes off to the dumpster, I would've appreciated some environmental hint as to where to go (A lamp post in the middle of a dark lit area or something). And as much as I can appreciate the hard work put to build such a large scene, the rest of the buildings didn't doo much for me but get me lost.

Also, I get that the flashlight battery is good for building tension, but I didn't see the point to having it as a resource if I couldn't replenish it somehow. While looking for Hannah I ran out of battery and it made the rest of the experience a bit frustating for me.

But other than that, really great effort!

Thank you so much for playing our game and for your thoughtful feedback! It was an exciting experience making our first horror jam game. We're glad you liked the vibes and visual style! We appreciate your feedback on navigating the scene with Hana. We tried to hint at where to go through the dialogue with Hannah and the direction she was walking, but we see how additional environmental cues like a lamp post would have made it clearer. You're right, the scene was larger than necessary, and we agree it could benefit from more elements to guide the player better. This is definitely something we’ll improve on in the future. Thanks for pointing it out, and for your understanding of the work that went into the scene!

Initially, we added the battery as a way to build tension, but we didn't end up implementing a way to replenish it. We kept it that way, but in hindsight, adding features like battery pickups would definitely enhance the experience and reduce frustration. It's something we'll keep in mind for future updates. We really appreciate your feedback, and we're glad you still enjoyed the effort we put into the game!
