The continue button's hitbox is glitched I think. I click it multiple times and it only works when it's some specific spot that changes randomly.
Sometimes it doesn't work if you don't move the mouse at all between clicks. It can also happen due to lag in the animation / browser. HTML5 is not the perfect format, unfortunately. >_<
