For my next game I'm trying to make a wave-based shooter, I might've overdone it with the plans I wrote for it, but we'll see how it goes.
Yeah, do be careful with how much you plan on doing versus what you can do. I know that kind of thing is slowing down my current game development. Too much "Wouldn't it be cool if ___" leads to a never finished project.
